* A R C T I C & A N T A R C T I C *

I have found the job that I love, and now I will never have to work a day in my life...

Thanks to our illustrious travellers like Dr. Donald Studt, featured here.

QUESTION: When you are 74 years young and have travelled all your life and have been to all those places and have done all those things, what do you do on your 75th birthday ?

ANSWER: You go to the North Pole. And at 80 ? Obviously, you travel to the South Pole. So at 84, what do you do, and where do you go ? Of course, you try to climb the highest point on the earth – Mount Everest; or go as high as you can.

And that is what one of Travel Interlink's most illustrious travellers has done, and continues to do.

A trip is as good as one's attitude and one's preparation, and the most important preparation takes place in ones mind. Everything else just follows. While planning trips for my illustrious, and the not-as-illustrious, travellers I keep reminding them that all travel starts in the mind and then the body merely takes over after that. The most important aspect of travel is the attitude one has towards the trip and the success of the trip is primarily dependent upon it. And that is the aspect of our 84 year young traveller and my many other illustrious travellers.

As such, I dedicate this page to all my illustrious (and the not-as-illustrious) travellers who make it so fun for me to plan, arrange and operate their trips – to all parts of the world. Once again I take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for entrusting your travel plans and travel needs to me: be it the North Pole or the South Pole, the Advanced Base Camp on the slopes of Mount Everest, or a campsite along the Sunderbans Delta; be it travelling the length and breath of Bhutan or combing the sands of Namibian deserts. Every day more and more interesting, fascinating and new challenges arrive at my desk. From hiking up a thundering volcano in the Kamchatka Peninsula to planning a train travel from north of the Arctic Circle; from a river trip down the Hooghly river to Calcutta to exploring the National Parks from the boat on the mighty Brahmaputra river; from cruising the Norwegian Fjords to floating down the Nile, and many, many more.

... I am so fortunate to have landed such a great job – one where I don't have to work a day in my life !
